ARIANET has a simple mission: to give people in the rural areas affordable Internet access. Without Internet infrastructure in developing countries, it is incredibly difficult to get connected.
ARIANET aims
to help communities get sustainable and economical systems that provide Internet
access to everyone who needs it.
There are no Internet connections for those in the remote, rural areas. We want to reach out to install, commission, and administer affordable Internet services. To be sustainable, we need your help.
We need Internet to connectMillions of people can still not connect to the Internet because they are in remote locations where big Internet providers are not willing to invest. This have great impact on the students, who are expected to download lessons from their school portals and upload assignments for their lecturers to grade. These screenshots are samples of many messages received from students who could not get their lessons on time to prepare for their exams and could not upload class works because of unstable Internet connection. |
Affordable Internet neededHelp provide Internet access at affordable rates to the less priviledged. Many students sometimes have to choose between feeding or paying for data to use for Internet connection. How can a hungry student concentrate on his/her studies?Help Affordable Rural Internet Access Networks (ARIANET) provide Internet services at a subsidized rate for these strugling students, so that they don't have to starve because they need to buy data for their school works. |

Sponsor a Location:We are soliciting Businesses and individuals, to help sponsor a rural village. Donation can be in the form of funds and/or equipment to setup connecting devices for a village. That will help us provide affordable Internet service to the residents; especially the students in higher institutions and those in secondary (middle and high schools) and primary (elementary) schools. |
Sponsor Someone:Nothing is too small; help sponsor an individual by paying for a monthly subscription fee of $10 per month. In addition to bridging the digital gap, in partnership with a local company, keyboarding skills will be taught to the primary and secondary school kids. This is important because most schools exams are now digital and administered online. In addition, almost all professions require keyboarding skills, since most business transactions are electronic. |
Volunteer:Help spread the need to bridge the digital gap and equip underpriviledged people in rural locations with affordable Internet access. Making affordable Internet access available in rural locations will go a long way in preparing these people for a brighter future. |
